Our Vetting Methodology
The promise of a seamless Indonesia private jet experience rests entirely on the quality and reliability of our partners. We take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness. Every aircraft, crew member, vehicle, and guide in our network is subjected to a rigorous, multi-faceted evaluation process. This methodology is our guarantee to you that every component of your journey meets the highest standards of safety, luxury, and professionalism.
Phase 1: Aviation Partner Audit (Aircraft & Operators)
Our primary concern is safety. We only partner with aircraft operators who hold a valid Indonesian Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and demonstrate a safety culture that exceeds regulatory requirements.
Scoring Rubric (100-Point Scale)
- Safety & Compliance (40 points):
- Verification of current AOC with the DGCA Indonesia.
- Third-party safety audit status (ARGUS Gold/Platinum or WYVERN Wingman preferred).
- Comprehensive review of maintenance records and schedules.
- Incident-free operational history for a minimum of 5 years.
- Crew Qualifications (30 points):
- Pilot flight hours and experience in type (exceeding regulatory minimums).
- Verification of recurrent training (simulator checks every 6 months).
- English language proficiency assessment (ICAO Level 4 minimum).
- Background checks and review of service history.
- Aircraft Condition (20 points):
- Physical inspection of cabin interior and exterior (age, refurbishment status, cleanliness).
- Verification of onboard amenities (Wi-Fi, entertainment systems, galley equipment).
- Comfort and noise level assessment.
- Service Culture (10 points):
- Assessment of cabin crew training in hospitality and discretion.
- Flexibility and responsiveness of the operator’s scheduling and support team.
An operator must score a minimum of 90 points to be considered for our network. Audits are conducted annually.
Phase 2: Ground & Sea Logistics Partner Vetting
A flawless journey requires excellence on the ground and at sea. Our logistics partners, from drivers to yacht captains, are selected with the same rigor.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Luxury Ground Transport:
- Vehicle Fleet: Annual inspection of vehicle condition, maintenance logs, and cleanliness. Fleet must consist of late-model luxury vehicles (e.g., Toyota Alphard, Mercedes-Benz S-Class/V-Class).
- Chauffeur Standards: Vetting of driver professionalism, local knowledge, safety records, and English proficiency. All vehicles must be equipped with GPS tracking.
- Insurance & Licensing: Verification of complete and current commercial transport licenses and comprehensive insurance coverage.
- Luxury Accommodation (Hotels, Villas, Resorts):
- Site Visits: Our senior team conducts biannual incognito site visits to evaluate service quality, maintenance, and security protocols.
- Reputation Audit: We monitor guest feedback through trusted channels and maintain direct relationships with property general managers.
- Safety Protocols: Review of emergency procedures, staff training, and security measures.
- Yacht & Phinisi Charters:
- Maritime Compliance: Verification of all vessel safety certificates (SOLAS), captain and crew licenses with the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut).
- Onboard Inspection: Annual inspection of vessel condition, safety equipment (life rafts, communication systems), and cabin amenities.
- Crew Expertise: Assessment of captain’s experience in the specific cruising area (e.g., Komodo, Raja Ampat) and chef’s culinary capabilities.
Phase 3: Experience Provider Audits (Guides & Specialists)
The people who guide you through Indonesia are the key to an authentic experience. We partner only with the best.
- Certification: All guides must hold a valid license from the Indonesian Tour Guides Association (HPI). Specialist guides (e.g., dive masters, volcanologists) must provide proof of internationally recognized certifications (e.g., PADI, SSI).
- Expertise & Communication: We conduct personal interviews to assess deep subject-matter knowledge, storytelling ability, and fluency in English or other required languages.
- Sustainability Commitment: We prioritize guides who are trained in and adhere to responsible tourism practices, such as those promoted by our conservation partners.
